As 'carbon neutrality' has recently emerged as a crucial issue, the low-carbone trasition and eco-friednliness of mobility services are also becoming essential. DEOGAM is developing energy-efficient equipment that harvests electromagnetic waves naturally generated from the electricity of electric vehicle.

The electricity we use is made up of usable active power and useless reactive power. For example, when I pour a glass of beer, foam overflows, and this foam can be said as the reactive power that dissappears in the form of electromagnetic waves. If I pour beer quickly or pour from far up from the glass, more foam is created. Electromagnetic harvesting is a technology that recycles electromagnetic waves, similar to beer foam, and turns them into usable electrical energy. The energy loss that occurs when driving electric vehicles accounts for a larger potion of the driving time than we might assume. The core technology of DEOGAM is to improve these energy loss problems. With our technology, you can increase the energy efficiency of E-mobility by recovering about 70% of the electromagnetic energy that is generated and wasted during driving and converting it into usable energy. As our company name DEOGAM suggests, the goal is to go further while using the same amount of energy. (Deo Gam means "going further" in Korean.)


DEOGAM's ultimate goal is to equip our products in the global electric mobility market, beginning with the domestic multi-purpose cargo vehicle market. We initiated a collaboration with electric vehicle startups and commercialized our products. We plan to launch sales in 2024 and enter the electric vehicle market on a full scale in 2025.

Recently, “carbon neutrality” has become an important topic, and the low-carbon transition and greening of mobility services is becoming an essential element. To lead this transition, DEOGAM is developing an energy efficiency maximization product called Enershift. Enershift is a revolutionary technology that improves the energy efficiency of vehicles and reduces operating costs by recovering unnecessary energy from electric vehicles and converting it back into usable power. This has the practical benefit of extending the range of an electric vehicle and reducing charging costs.


Going forward, DEOGAM aims to deploy our products in the global e-mobility market and develop a carbon credits business through data management. In 2024, we signed an MOU with Kakao Mobility, a leading mobility company, to conduct open innovation and build a carbon credit trading system by collecting and analyzing data related to electric vehicles. This data will contribute to carbon compliance and emission credit generation based on the driving data of electric vehicles. In 2025, we aim to enter the electric vehicle market in earnest through a regulatory sandbox demonstration project and commercialize it.
